The Mercy Outpatient Medical Center is a shared surgical center between Mercy Medical Center and Wolfe Eye in Hiawatha, Iowa.  Completed in 2016, the building features 60,000 square feet of surgical rooms and medical office space constructed over an existing ground floor structure.  Select Structural provided structural engineering and architectural design services for this project utilizing a Design-Build approach.  The building features include a steel and metal stud structure with exterior brick and metal rain-screen exterior facade.  Design considerations included ADA compliance and flexible interior spaces.
